The Robertson County Community Band
WHO ARE WE?
The RCCB was formed in 2005 and is directed by Chris Reeves. We are a community band for musicians of all ages, adults and students beginning with the 9th grade. We are looking for musicians who are currently in a band program or band alumni.
The RCCB plays concert band music and we currently have about 30 members. We are looking for more members if you are interested in joining (woodwinds, brass, percussion). We welcome everyone and we have a special need at this time for percussion, oboe, saxophone, bass clarinet, bassoon, trombone and French horn.
WHEN AND WHERE DO WE PRACTICE?
The RCCB practices twice a month on the first and third Tuesday night of the month, 6:30-9 pm, at Springfield High School Band Hall. We do not meet in the months of August or December.
WHERE DO WE PERFORM?
The RCCB performs at the Springfield High School "Little Theatre", White House City Hall, and other venues in Robertson County and Middle Tennessee. We perform several times a year. For our concert schedule, please visit our website at www.rccbtn.wordpress.com
HOW MUCH TO JOIN?
A $25 per year due is required of each member to help cover RCCB organizational costs.
